At the heart of the community for many years the Loanhead Miners is a well established hub of activity, this has developed over the years to include the Community Centre and the future of Loanhead Miners continues to go from strength to strength. 

This Welfare Society is very proud of the mining heritage of the town and has a long tradition of self help.
